Seema Karanth K

Seema Karanth is a professional storyteller from Bengaluru, who swapped her MBA and corporate career for the magical world of stories! Known for her elaborate props, playful puppets, and a flair for the dramatic, she makes every tale visual, vibrant, and unforgettable. From libraries to lit fests, schools to colleges, and even corporate events, she brings stories to life with fun, fact, and fiction. Whether it’s kids, teachers, or professionals, she loves sharing stories with everyone, making them laugh, think, ponder and imagine-one tale at a time!

A staunch believer of the power of stories, storytelling and reading, she runs book clubs, where children are engaged with carefully curated age-appropriate books, stories and after story activities that blend fun, fact and fiction.

She conducts theme-based workshops for children connecting stories with learning, skill development and life skills.

She conducts storytelling workshops for educators across public and private schools and colleges in an attempt to improve and diversify the methods of teaching by integrating stories in the curriculum.

Over the years, Seema has performed for storytelling carnivals and events held by institutions like Azim Premji Foundation, Ranga Shankara, Mysuru Lit Fest 2024, The Hindu Lit Fest 2024, Chennai, Happy Streets by Times of India, to name a few.
