Manjula Gonala
Manjula Gonal is a young Kannada writer and researcher, currently pursuing her doctoral studies in the Department of Kannada Literary Studies at Kannada University, Hampi. Under the guidance of Dr. Venkatagiri Dalavayi, she is researching the theme “Reconstruction of History in Modern Kannada Drama.â€
Her keen interest in literature has already led to the publication of her debut critical work Nudiya Neralu, which was supported by the Kannada Book Authority. With her passion for theatre, history, and literary critique, she represents a promising voice in contemporary Kannada scholarship.
At BBLF 2025, Manjula brings her fresh perspective on how drama and literature reinterpret history for today’s audiences.
