Ganadhalu Shreekanta

Gaanadhalu Shreekanta is a journalist, writer, and editor from Karnataka, passionate about agriculture, rural development, and the environment. Originally from Gaanadhalu, he studied in Tiptur and currently works in Bengaluru. Over his career, he has contributed to major Kannada newspapers like Vijaya Karnataka and Prajavani.
He has authored books such as Beejasampada, Savayava Chittara, Velvet Beans, Desi Krishi Upakaranagalu, Hasiru Haadi, and Honaaru, focusing on sustainable farming, indigenous knowledge, and environmental conservation. His articles and radio features have inspired farmers and readers alike.

His work has earned him several honors, including the Karnataka State Environmental Journalism Award, Kempegowda Award, and a fellowship from the Centre for Science and Environment in New Delhi. He has also travelled across India and to California, USA, for agricultural studies.””
