Vaibhav Lokur
Vaibbhav Lokur is an Indian theatre practitioner, educator, researcher, and PhD student at FLAME University in Pune, specializing in oral histories and folk performances. Awarded a prestigious Inlaks Shivdasani Theatre Fellowship in 2017, he deeply engaged with Yakshagana at Yakshagaan Kendra, Udupi, transitioning from observer to performer and exploring traditional folk performance practice. He has worked with Junoon on their Mumbai Local series, curating intimate, insightful conversations on the arts, and with QUEST (Quality Education Support Trust) as a project officer, using theatre and storytelling to support teachers and children in rural education. He also leads Kalavkaash Art Foundation in Belagavi, fostering theatre, music, and the arts.
