Kolakaluri Enoch
Professor Kolakaluri Enoch is a renowned Telugu litterateur, Padma Shri awardee, and former Vice-Chancellor of SV University, Tirupati. With a literary career spanning over six decades, he has authored more than 100 works across genres—poetry, plays, novels, short stories, and critical essays—many of which have been translated into Indian and foreign languages. A committed educator and social activist, he mentored 24 PhD and 18 MPhil scholars and completed numerous research projects, publishing over 300 papers. His leadership in academia, especially in modernizing Telugu studies and educational reforms, has left a lasting impact. Even at 84, he remains an active writer, mentor, and advocate for literature and social change.
