Anitha Mysore
Anitha Mysore is a Bengaluru-based tech professional and award-winning fine art photographer whose creative journey began with a simple love for capturing memories. Her passion truly blossomed with her first digital SLR, taking her on an inspiring exploration across genres — from travel and street photography to the captivating world of birds, her favorite muse.
Her career in IT enabled her to travel the world, fueling her creativity and deepening her storytelling through images. In 2016, she joined the Youth Photographic Society (YPS), where she was introduced to the realms of salon competitions and fine art photography, guided by the mentorship of eminent YPS photographers.
Over the past seven years, Anitha has participated actively in national and international salons, exhibiting her work in over 60 countries, earning more than 9000 acceptances and over 900 awards. Her photographs have won acclaim for their depth, artistry, and narrative power. She has also served as a jury member in prestigious national and international photography salons.
A dedicated member of the YPS community, she has held key roles such as Interclub Representative for four years, Salon Secretary for several YPS salons, Chairperson for two YPS National Salons, and currently serves as a Director on the YPS Executive Committee.
Anitha believes, echoing Henry Ford’s words, that “Anyone who keeps learning stays young,” and she continues to embrace each day as a new opportunity to grow and create.
