Rashmi Vasudeva
Rashmi Vasudeva leads the Sunday Features section at Deccan Herald, where she brings over 15 years of journalistic experience to her storytelling. With ‘ideas on every page’ as a running theme, DH on Sunday covers an extensive range of topics. Rashmi’s writing, too, spans a broad canvas — from social trends and the arts to food, books, music, films, travel, and wellness — and has been published in several leading Indian and international platforms. An alumna of the Asian College of Journalism and a British Chevening Fellow at the University of Westminster, London, Rashmi was also awarded a prestigious full scholarship by the European Commission to pursue the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s in Media, which she completed with distinction across universities in Denmark, the Netherlands, and the UK. Off deadline, she indulges in her love for good food, crime thrillers, and romances — and occasionally pens poetry she cheerfully admits is best kept private.
