Leak Out: A New Theatrical Experiment in Reader Expression

Leak Out: A New Theatrical Experiment in Reader Expression

August 22, Saturday – 4.00 PM to 4.50 PM

Performer: Akshatha Pandavapura

“Leak Out” is an innovative theatrical experiment that explores how a story, once it leaves the hands of the writer, reaches readers and awakens their individual expressions.

At its core, the performance examines how short stories unfold differently for different people — readers, viewers, and artists of expression. It seeks to understand how a narrative stimulates the five senses, how audiences relate to the story and its characters, and how the perspectives of those who watch and read can differ profoundly from the experiences of the characters themselves. Through this exploration, “Leak Out” creates a unique dramatic form that bridges literature, performance, and personal interpretation.

The production also engages directly with the audience, inviting conversation and uncovering the emotions, thoughts, and inner worlds of the spectators. This interactive approach transforms the performance into a shared journey of storytelling and self-discovery.
