Vidyarashmi Pelathadka is a distinguished Kannada poet, writer, and senior journalist, originally from Pelathadka village on the Karnataka–Kerala border. With a strong presence in both literature and journalism, she has established herself as an important voice in contemporary Kannada writing.

She currently serves as the Chief of the Magazine Section at Vijaya Karnataka, one of Karnataka’s leading Kannada daily newspapers. Through her literary work and long-standing engagement with journalism, Vidyarashmi Pelathadka continues to contribute significantly to Kannada literature and the media landscape.
