Indudhara Honnapura is a prominent Kannada writer, investigative journalist, and social activist who co-founded the historic Dalit Sangharsh Samiti (DSS) in Karnataka, India. A pioneer of Dalit protest literature, he voiced systemic struggles through influential works like his poem "Kappu Manujaru" and served as the first editor of the anti-caste magazine Shoshita. Honnapura further strengthened alternative media by founding and editing the Kannada weekly newspaper Suddi Sangaati while contributing heavily to mainstream investigative journalism through Prajavani.
