Akkiraju Bhattiprolu is a Telugu writer, translator, and literary commentator. He is the author of the acclaimed short story collection Moodu Beerla Tharavata (After Three Beers) and the translator of South vs North: India's Great Divide into Telugu as Uttara Dakshinaalu. He co-edited Kotha Katha 2017, an anthology of emerging Telugu short story writers, and has been an active contributor to online Telugu literary platforms for over three decades. Originally from the Bhadrachalam region of Telangana, Akkiraju worked as a software engineer in the United States before returning to India. His experience in technology, entrepreneurship, and multicultural environments continues to shape his literary perspective.
