Savitha (born 24 May 1981) is a Tamil writer, poet, short story writer, and columnist from Dharmapuri district, Tamil Nadu. She holds degrees in Commerce, Business Administration, and English, along with a Diploma in Montessori Education, and also works as a dialogue writer for Tamil television serials. She began her literary career as a poet and has published four poetry collections and a short story collection. Her poems, stories, essays, and literary articles have appeared in several leading Tamil literary journals and online magazines. A member of the Nayagi collective, she actively promotes the recognition of women's achievements through literary and cultural initiatives. Known for her emotionally resonant and socially conscious writing, Savitha received recognition in the 2023 Zero Degree Short Story Competition for her short story Thiral Kani.
