Sujatha Selvaraj is a Tamil poet and short story writer from Tiruchirapalli district, Tamil Nadu, currently based in Bengaluru. A former school teacher with over a decade of teaching experience, she began her literary journey in 2010 with the poem Tholaindhu Ponavargal, published in Ananda Vikatan. She has since established herself as a distinctive voice in contemporary Tamil literature. She is the author of the poetry collections Kaalangalai Kadandhu Varubavan (2014) and Kadalai Kalavaadubaval (2024), and the short story collection Kannimarsamy (2025), published by Kalachuvadu Publications. Her poems and stories have appeared in leading Tamil literary magazines, including Kalachuvadu, Ananda Vikatan, Kanaiyazhi, Uyir Ezhutthu, Amrutha, Kalki, and Kumkumam. She received the Tiruppur Arima Sakthi Literary Award (2014) and the Ezhuthukkalam Literary Award (2025) for her contributions to Tamil literature.
