Prajna Neelgund Shanthinath holds an M.Tech from IIT Bombay and began her career as a Software Engineer at Cisco. She later served for over 12 years as Administrator and Trustee of Deenabandhu Trust, leading initiatives in child care, school development, and teacher training. She is the Founder of Studio Bharat, where she designs and conducts workshops that nurture creativity, communication, confidence, and holistic child development through theatre, storytelling, and Indian culture.
A graduate of NINASAM Theatre Institute, Prajna has acted in over 10 theatre productions with more than 120 stage performances. She has written and directed several children's plays and has extensive experience using theatre as a medium for learning and self-expression.
She has authored educational film scripts, published articles on child development and education in Anubhava magazine, and co-authored the paper Supporting Child Caregivers in South Indian Orphanages: Identifying "Ghosts" and Creating "Angels", published in Institutionalised Children: Explorations and Beyond, a peer-reviewed, bi-annual international academic journal.
