Anupama Raju is an accomplished poet, novelist, translator, literary journalist, and communications professional whose work has earned widespread recognition in contemporary Indian English literature. She is the author of the poetry collections Bitter Gourd and Nine, and the acclaimed novel C: a novel, with her writings widely anthologized in India and abroad.   Recognized by India Today as one of the leading young Indian poets writing in English, Anupama has collaborated on several interdisciplinary projects that bring together poetry, photography, and performance. Her notable collaborations include the Indo-French projects Surfaces and Depths and Une Ville, Un Lieu, Une Personne with French photographer Pascal Bernard, as well as Nine – Our Circle of Lines, a dance-and-poetry performance created with dancer Dr. Rajashree Warrier.   A Charles Wallace Fellow at the University of Kent, Canterbury, and Writer-in-Residence at Center Intermondes, La Rochelle, France, Anupama also holds a Ph.D. in the use of poetry in leadership communications. She is an alumna of the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and currently works in Strategic Communications at UST, while continuing to contribute significantly to literature, translation, and interdisciplinary arts.
