Chandraiah Shivanna is a passionate educator and distinguished literary voice, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Telugu at Nizam College, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana. His commitment to the preservation and promotion of the Telugu language extends beyond national boundaries, as he facilitates Telugu Diploma programmes for students from various countries. He also contributes actively to academic discourse as a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Nadusthunna Telangana. An accomplished author and editor, Dr. Chandraiah's scholarly contributions include works such as Telangana Cultural Dictionary and Palukubadi, which offer valuable insights into the region's linguistic and cultural heritage. His creative expression is reflected in his poetry collections, including Edari Vasana. Since February 2025, he has been serving as the General Secretary of the Telugu Literary Congress, further strengthening his commitment to the advancement of Telugu literature and culture.
