K. Suneetha Rani

K. Suneetha Rani is Professor of Women’s Studies and Dean of the School of Social Sciences at the University of Hyderabad. A distinguished scholar, translator, and editor, her research focuses on feminist pedagogy, cultural studies, comparative literature, Dalit studies, and new literatures in English. She has authored, edited, and translated numerous acclaimed books in English and Telugu, including Australian Aboriginal Women's Autobiographies, Flowering from the Soil, English in the Dalit Context, Vibhinna, A House on the Outskirts and Other Stories, Critical Discourse in Telugu, and The Rock That Was Not. She has also edited gender handbooks for Telangana government schools under a UNICEF-supported initiative and serves as the Series Editor of Gender Studies and Intersectionality in India at Rupkatha Books. Through her scholarship and translations, she has made significant contributions to feminist discourse, Dalit literature, and cross-cultural literary studies.
