Vijayanandalakshmi is a Tamil writer, poet, essayist, and translator from Chinnamanur in Theni district, Tamil Nadu. She has authored two poetry collections—Udanpattu Veyil and Nizhal Mayakkam—the essay collection Theni: Magarantha Karuvoolam Thedi, the short story collection Mazhaimugam, and several books introducing Sangam classics, including Kalithogai, Malaipadukadam, Pattinappalai, and Kurinjipattu. She has also translated notable works such as Lisa Allathu Prabukkal Illam and O. Henry Sirukathaigal. Through her diverse writings, she has made significant contributions to contemporary Tamil literature and the popularization of Sangam literary heritage.
