K.R. Kishor is a senior Malayalam writer, novelist, biographer, literary critic, playwright, editor, and cultural activist based in Bengaluru. He has authored several books, including novels, biographies, and literary criticism, with notable works on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Sree Narayana Guru, and Gauri Lankesh. A distinguished theatre personality, Kishor has written, directed, and acted in numerous plays and has received multiple Best Actor awards at Kerala state-level drama competitions. He has also founded and edited several Malayalam literary magazines and has been actively involved in promoting literature, theatre, and cultural activities for over five decades.
