T.P. Vinod is a Malayalam poet native to Koyyam in Kannur district, Kerala, who works as an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Christ University, Bengaluru. He has published five poetry collections: "Nilaviliyekkuruthulla Kadamkathakal," "Allathenth?," "Sandehangalude Nirdheshangangal," "Gharillaswabhavamulla Oru Khedam," and "Sathyamayum Lokame." His collection "Allathenth?" won the BCV Kavitha Puraskaram, while "Sathyamayum Lokame" earned him multiple honours, including the Mootadi Damodaran Award, the WTP Live Award, the Poorna-R. Ramachandran Award, the Sachi Memorial Award, and — most recently — the prestigious Ayanam–A. Ayyappan Poetry Award (the 13th edition), instituted by Ayanam Cultural Forum, Thrissur, in memory of poet A. Ayyappan.
