Prasad Suri (pen name of Surada Prasad) is a Telugu author, painter, and researcher from Vada Narsapuram village in Andhra Pradesh's Anakapalli district. A graduate in Painting (BFA) from JNAFAU, Hyderabad, he is currently pursuing an M.A. in Archaeology at Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU), Baroda.
He is the author of My Name is Chiranjeevi (2021), Mairavana (2022)—widely recognized as the first authentic Telugu novel on the lives of fishermen—Artist Mohan (2023), an English monograph, and Bachelor of Fine Arts (2024), the first Telugu novel portraying the lives of fine arts students. His work has received wide acclaim, earning the Anvikshiki Publications Ugadi Award (2025) for Bachelor of Fine Arts and the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar (2025) for Mairavana.
