K. P. Ramanunni is an acclaimed Malayalam author, editor, and cultural administrator whose contributions have significantly enriched contemporary Indian literature. Renowned for his evocative storytelling and profound exploration of social, cultural, and spiritual themes, he has established himself as one of the most respected voices in Malayalam literature.   He has served as the Editor of Madhyamam Weekly and as the Administrator of the Thunchan Memorial Trust, playing an important role in literary and cultural initiatives in Kerala. A prolific writer, Ramanunni has authored numerous short story collections, novels, and essay collections that have earned widespread critical acclaim. His outstanding literary contributions have been recognized with several prestigious honours, including the Samastha Kerala Sahitya Parishad Award, Edasseri Award, Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award, and the Vayalar Award.
