Nuthana M. Doshetty is a distinguished Kannada author and former radio programme executive, widely recognized for her significant contributions to contemporary Kannada literature. Hailing from Siddapur in Uttara Kannada district, she has established herself as one of the prominent voices among Kannada women writers.   She has served as a Programme Executive at All India Radio (Akashvani), bringing her creative and cultural sensibilities to broadcasting as well as literature. Her notable works include the acclaimed collections Kaalavemba Mahamane and Bhageerathi Ulisida Prashnegalu. Her debut short story collection, Yaava Websiteinalloo Uttaravilla, received wide appreciation, and one of its stories was prescribed as a text for undergraduate studies at Kuvempu University.   Nuthana M. Doshetty’s writings have appeared in leading Kannada magazines and newspapers, including Karmaveera, Sudha, Tushara, Kasturi, The Week, India Today, Prajavani, Kannada Prabha, and Sumukha. Through her thoughtful storytelling and literary engagement, she continues to enrich contemporary Kannada literature.
