Abhijith A.P.C. is a homoeopathic physician, organic farmer, naturalist, arachnologist, and science communicator based in Mysuru, Karnataka. He is a founding member of Team SAALIGA, a citizen science initiative dedicated to spider research, conservation, and public awareness.

An accomplished researcher, he has documented spider behaviour extensively, co-discovered several new spider species, and co-authored over 50 scientific publications. He has also led exhibitions, workshops, and outreach programs promoting biodiversity and ecological awareness across Karnataka.

Dr. Abhijith manages a biodiverse organic farm that nurtures more than 3,000 plant species, providing a thriving habitat for birds, reptiles, insects, and spiders. He is the author and co-author of books including Backyard Spiders – A Field Guide to Common Spiders, Ambaradoladuva Kichuganaguttu, and Halasu Bidisidaaga, and regularly writes nature columns in Kannada newspapers and digital platforms.

His contributions to conservation and science communication have been recognized with the Deccan Herald "20 in 2020 – DH Changemakers" award, recognition from iNaturalist, and a TEDx talk in 2023.
