Vishnumangalam Kumar is a Malayalam writer, journalist, and social activist from Nadapuram, Kerala, who has lived in Bengaluru for over three decades. A writer with the Kerala Sabdam Group, his articles and literary works have appeared in leading Malayalam magazines. He has authored nine books across genres, including essays, short stories, memoirs, journalism, and fiction.

He is the founder of the Deepthi Welfare Association and has served in leadership roles with the Bangalore Malayali Writers and Artists Forum and the Sargadhara Cultural Committee. His debut novel, Snehasandram Ravinivesham, set in Bengaluru, has been translated into Kannada and English.
