Dennis Paul, a native of Kozhikode, is a well-known cultural figure among the Malayali community in Bangalore. He has been actively involved in cultural initiatives since moving to Bangalore in 1974 and joining Indian Telephone Industries (ITI) in 1976. He holds diplomas in Mechanical Engineering from M.E.I. Polytechnic and in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ITI.
A founder member and core activist of the Karnataka Progressive Arts Club (CPAC), Dennis has been a central presence in the cultural activities of Kerala Samajam Dooravani Nagar. He has served in key roles including General Secretary and Chairman of the Literary Committee, and currently continues to serve as the General Secretary of the Samajam. An accomplished playwright and director, Dennis has written and staged numerous plays under the CPAC banner. His works have received several accolades, including first prizes in Malayalam drama competitions held by organizations such as Bangalore Kerala Samajam, Bell Malayali Association, Kalavedi, and Madras Keralam Samajam. He currently resides in Udaya Nagar, near Dooravani Nagar, Bangalore."
