Allam Narayana is a prominent Indian Telugu journalist, poet, and grassroots writer who contributed significantly to the Telangana statehood movement. Over his career, he served at major media houses like Andhra Prabha, Prajatantra, and Andhra Jyothy. He later became the foundational Chief Editor of the Namasthe Telangana daily newspaper in 2011. As a literary figure, he is widely celebrated for his fiery columns like Pranahitha and Vennela Konallo, written in the authentic Telangana dialect. Narayana is the founder-president of the Telangana Journalists Forum. He also served as the first Chairman of the Media Academy of Telangana, championing working-class socio-economic struggles.
