Sameera works as a Development sector professional with more than a decade of experience in Education, Computational Thinking, Career and Gender. She also has a deep interest in Arts and Culture having diverse experiences participating in film/cultural festivals, filmmaking, film criticism, theatre, choirs and more. Her keen interest in preserving Telugu literature, led her to participate in the Tilt workshop, a joint effort by Telugu publishing houses Aju and Chaaya Publications, a first-of-its-kind 6-month translation workshop led by famous French translator Ros Schwartz in 2024. Over the years, she has translated several short stories and one novel from Telugu to English.
