K. M. Vasundhara is an administrator, poet, author, and public servant, currently serving as the Managing Director of LIDKAR (Dr. Babu Jagjivan Ram Leather Industries Development Corporation Ltd.), Government of Karnataka. A senior Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS) officer, she has held key leadership positions across the Departments of Agricultural Marketing, Tourism, and Social Welfare, and is recognized for her contributions to public administration and institutional development.

Alongside her administrative career, Dr. Vasundhara is an accomplished Kannada writer and poet. She has published poetry collections including Maretu Bittaddu, Kannada Kavi Kavya Kusuma Male–40, and Nepathyada Niluvugannadi, and has authored over 750 short stories, besides numerous poems, articles, and essays. Her literary works have been featured in leading Kannada publications, and her poems have been included in the undergraduate curriculum of the University of Mysore.

A recipient of the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award, Mantralaya Sri Parimala Award, and Nari Samman 2026, Dr. Vasundhara is also a sought-after speaker, mentor, and advocate for youth development, continuing to make meaningful contributions to Kannada literature and public life.
