Madhumita Kumar Rajan is a lawyer and member of the Free Libraries Network (FLN).FLN is a collective of community-owned and free libraries across India working toadvance the right to read and equitable access to books. FLN is also demanding lawand policy that recognizes reading as a right and a framework for free public librariesthat are inclusive and serve all.A graduate of the National Law School of India University, Madhumita has worked inthe publishing, industry, including as Head of Legal at publishing houses. Sheadvises authors, publishers, and non-profit organizations on issues relating topublishing, copyright, and access to knowledge.
