Abhimanyu Bhupathi is the Founder and Director of Bengaluru Theatre Ensemble (BTE), a theatre collective known for its innovative productions in Kannada, including pantomime, musicals, and experimental theatre. As a director, he has staged acclaimed productions such as Gandhige Saavilla, Navya Kanyeyaru, Kannada Jagattu, Kaadu Mallige, and Urugavva, alongside co-directing Three Penny Opera and Kiragurina Gayyaligalu.
A versatile theatre practitioner and playback singer, he has worked with renowned music director V. Manohar and lent his voice to Kannada films including Duniya and Bhageerathi. Through Bengaluru Theatre Ensemble, he continues to foster creative collaboration and bring meaningful theatre to wider audiences across Karnataka.
