Rashmi S is a senior journalist, writer, and translator. Born and raised in Bidar, she holds a Master's degree in Journalism and began her career as a Sub-Editor at Prajavani. She is currently the Editor of Sudha Weekly and serves as a Member of the Karnataka Media Academy.   She is the author of several books, including Ankura (translation), Mathu Kathiyadaga, Midumaatu, Ee Pic Yaar Click, Bisilina Adeshto Tunukugalu (translated from Amrita Pritam), and Oorembo Ooru Ooru Usabari. She has received numerous honours, including the Karnataka State Book Authority Award, the Avva Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Karnataka Working Journalists' Association.
