Sridhar Balagar is an acclaimed Kannada author, short story writer, novelist, and academic from Uttara Kannada. A professor at Kamala Baliga College of Education, Kumta, he is widely recognized for his distinctive literary voice and significant contributions to contemporary Kannada fiction.   His acclaimed works include Adhomukha, Mukhantara, Ile Emba Kanasu, and Aadukala, which explore the complexities of human relationships, society, and rural life with remarkable depth and sensitivity.
