A Ramasamy
A. Ramasamy is a renowned Tamil literary critic, academician, and cultural thinker known for his extensive contributions to literary criticism, contemporary Tamil literature, and media studies. With over three decades of teaching experience at premier institutions including Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and the University of Warsaw, he has authored more than 30 books and edited several influential volumes. His works span diverse themes—feminism, war literature, Tamil cinema, and Dalit narratives—earning him awards such as the Ilavandhikai Award and the Sujatha Award. Prof. Ramasamy has served on national curriculum and literary award committees, and continues to shape discourse in Tamil literary and cultural scholarship.
