“Dr. Archana Vasudev is a storyteller, writer, and media professional who brings a rich blend of experience across film, education, and communication to the literary and cultural space. She is the award-winning screenwriter of the Malayalam feature film HER (streaming on Manorama Max), which received the Kerala State Film Critics Special Jury Award (2024) for Best Script, and the short film Atmanirbhar (telecast on MTV).

As founder of Talkative, a communications company for artists and film productions — now also offering online media education — she has contributed to acclaimed films such as Edakkad Battalion 06, Kallan D’Souza, Darlings (Hindi), Sweet Karam Coffee (Tamil), Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, HER, and the upcoming Chera.

With a Ph.D. in Communication and Journalism (Film Studies) from the University of Madras, she has taught Advertising, PR, Cultural Studies, Film Studies, and Communication at the Centre for Management Studies. Her research has been published and presented widely, including in Chalachitra Sameeksha and Springer.

Earlier, she worked with Google in New Delhi as an Account Associate and Trainer, building expertise in client relations and training. At BBLF 2025, Dr. Archana Vasudev brings her unique insights on storytelling across cinema, media, and culture — exploring how narratives shape our world.”
