Benny Daniel is an acclaimed Malayalam short story writer, novelist and screenwriter who writes under the pen name ‘Benyamin’. Aadujeevitham (Goat Days), Manjaveyil Maranagal (Yellow Lights Of Death), Mullappoo Niramulla Pakalukal (Jasmine Days), Tharakans Grandhavari (The Chronicles of Tharakan) are some of his famous novels. His magnum opus Aadujeevitham is adapted into a film as ‘The Goat Life’ by director Blessy. Benyamin, for his works, is bestowed with Abu Dhabi Sakthi Award, Kerala Sahitya Academy Award, JCB Prize, Crossword Book Award and Vayalar Award.
