Dennis Paul
Dennis Paul is a playwright, director, and cultural activist based in Bangalore. A native of Kozhikode, he moved to Bangalore in 1974 and has been an active presence in the Malayali cultural scene ever since. A founder member and key activist of the Karnataka Progressive Arts Club (CPAC), he has also served as General Secretary and Literary Committee Chairman of Kerala Samajam, Dooravani Nagar, where he continues to serve as General Secretary today.
Dennis has written and directed numerous Malayalam plays, many of which have won awards, including first prizes in competitions organized by Bangalore Kerala Samajam, Bell Malayali Association, Kalavedi, and Madras Keralam Samajam. Through his creative and organizational work, he has played a vital role in sustaining and promoting Malayalam theatre and culture in Karnataka.
