Kanthraj N, a versatile artist based in Bangalore, firmly believes in the aesthetics of a painting. With innate skills of visual imagination, he has a very strong educational background in Art with degrees in D.M.C, D.F.A, A.M.C and M.F.A. Most of his watercolour landscape paintings evoke a sense of tranquillity and mysteriousness. Nature inspires him to use multi-layered, effective colours with warm, cool, light and dark hues, which he believes controls the rhythms of life as well.  

He believes in doing thorough research when it comes to figurative paintings. Mr. Kanthraj is currently the Co-ordinator and Head of Karnataka State for the International Watercolor Society of India (IWS INDIA). He is a recipient of several awards including Karnataka Lalit Kala Academy award, Excellence Award a 

t International Watercolor Society Mexico, Best Painting of the Show award at 1st International Biennale Waves of Colours International Watercolor Society Bangladesh, Yuva Chethana Award Bengaluru, All India Water Colour Exhibition award, Kala Samskar Award among others. He has also been a part of numerous solo and group exhibitions and conducted a good number of workshops and demonstrations.
