“P Kusuma Ayarahalli, better known by her pen name Kusumabale, hails from Nanjangud She holds a master’s degree in Kannada and Journalism Her career began as an announcer with All India Radio, later expanding into television where she hosted several serials across various regional channels Alongside her broadcasting work, she is an active short story writer and regularly pens a column in the Vijaya Karnataka daily under the name “”Kusumabale “” A collection of her columns, titled Yoltinkeli, has been published In recognition of her literary contributions, she received the Dr Hamana Youth Award in 2018 Her interests span agriculture, literature, and education”
