L. Hanumantaiah
L Hanumantaiah, a member of the Rajya Sabha, is one of the prominent poets in Kannada literature. A creative writer, orator, and critic, he has also served as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Council. His published works include the poetry collections ‘Kappu Kannina Hudugi’ and ‘Avva’, the edited volume ‘Ambedkar Kavanagalu’, the critical work ‘Dalita Lokada Olage’, and the play Ambedkar. His complete works have been published by the Kannada Book Authority. He actively participates in people’s movements and social organizations.
