Manjunath Honnapura, a National award-winning artist, graduated from Bangalore University with PG Diploma in Painting. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Indian, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and the USA.  

His notable achievements include prestigious awards such as the National Award at the 62nd National Exhibition of Art by Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi in 2022, the Western Region Art Exhibition Camlin Ltd, Mumbai in 2012, and the inclusion in the “Imagining Our Future Together” South Asia Artists by World Bank in 2012. Additionally, he was granted the Print Making Fellowship by Karnataka Lalit Kala Academy in 2018. Manjunath’s artworks are in the collections of various corporate houses, galleries and private collectors both in India and abroad. He has participated in several solo and group shows.  

Manjunath Honnapura’s bold abstract compositions show his mastery. Colour and form in his abstracts combine to lend austerity to his canvas. Lines and spaces create a unique quality of its own and stands apart from the rest.
