
Nadeem Khan has been teaching English since 1973. He retired from College in 2010 and became the founding Director of the Western Regional Centre of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication run by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, from 2011 to 2018. He has translated over 25 books from Marathi to English; seven of Vishwas Patil. He won the Valley of Words award for the best translated book of 2020. His translation of Vishwas Patil’s ‘Dudiya’ figured in the long list of the Crossword award and Avadhoot Dongare’s ‘Leaf, Water and Flow was in the JCB list of 2024.
