
Pravara Kottur
Pravara Kottur, born in 1990 in Kottur, Ballari district, is a poet and educator who weaves his love for literature, photography, and travel into his creative expression. After completing his B.Sc. in his hometown and an MCA from SMRIT College, Bengaluru, he currently serves as the Head of the Computer Science Department at a degree college in Hosadurga.
Pravara’s poetry shines with freshness and sensitivity. His debut collection, Ajeebu Duniya (2013), earned him the Amma Award from Sedam and the Karnataka Sahitya Parishat’s Aralu Sahitya Award. His recent collection, Ondu Mattininda Kollabahudu, continues to reveal his evocative voice and nuanced reflections on life and emotions.
