K E Radhakrishna
“Senior writer Prof K E Radhakrishna hails originally from Peraje in the Dakshina Kannada district. He holds an M.A. in English and an LL.B. from Bangalore University. In 1972, he began his career as a lecturer in English at Seshadripuram College, Bengaluru, later becoming the principal in 1988, and took voluntary retirement in 2002.
He served as a subject expert on the UGC committee and was a member of the committee that drafted the higher education policy for the state of Karnataka. At Bangalore University, he was involved in various roles, including the Board of Studies, Syndicate, and Academic Council.
Apart from his academic contributions, he is also a Yakshagana performer and a poet. He has authored several works in both Kannada and Tulu languages.”
