
Rajesh Hangu
H.G. Rajesh is a writer and historian from Handalagere village in Kunigal taluk. He holds an M.A. and B.Ed from Bangalore University and a diploma in Epigraphy from Kannada Sahitya Parishat. He is currently serving as a History lecturer at the Government Pre-University College in Dodderi, Bengaluru South Taluk, and is pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Mysore.
His areas of interest include historical research and archaeology. He has served as a member of textbook writing and revision committees for History subjects in the 1st PUC and Grades 6–7. Rajesh is the founding editor of the quarterly journal Ithihasa Darpana, and the author of Ithihasa – 2 and Mounakranti: Samakaleena Pratikriyagele. He has published over 20 research articles and worked as co-editor for 12 volumes under Kuvempu Bhasha Bharathi’s project Some Foundations of Karnataka’s Social and Economic History.
