Sreekanth Kodakkal was born in 1976 in Kodakkal, located in the district of Kasaragod, Kerala. He is currently working as a teacher in the Department of Education. His poems, stories, essays, and songs have appeared in various media. His stories and songs reflect the experiences and observations of the lives around him. His notable works include stories, songs, and a short film (script and direction) titled Chiri (“Smile”) which was featured in the Lok Kerala Sabha (Gulf region). He is active in social and cultural organizations.
