Urmila Venugopal, a visual artist based in Bengaluru completed her Bachelors in Painting from College of Fine Arts, Chitrakala Parishath Bengaluru and holds a Master degree in Printmaking from Kala Bhavan Santiniketan. During the last decade of practice, she primarily worked with various Printmaking mediums of relief and intaglio techniques. She is a recipient of Arnavaz Vasudev Scholarship, Bangalore; National Lalit Kala Akademi Scholarship, New Delhi; Karnataka Lalitha Kala Academy Award; FICCI, FLO Women Achievers Award, Bangalore; Printmaking Fellowship from Karnataka Lalit Kala Academy, Bangalore.
