Bageshree Subbanna hails from a musical family, and she is a seasoned journalist and translator. She has been in the media for more than two and a half decades and has acted as a bridge between culture and journalism. She has been working with ‘The Hindu’ for about two decades and covered art, literature, and culture extensively. Now she heads the ‘The Hindu’ bureau in Bengaluru. Earlier, she was with the Deccan Herald. She is an avid reader and has a strong appreciation for literature.
