Senior journalist, writer and poet G.N. Mohan is one of the pioneers of Kannada journalism. He has experience in three different media like newspaper, electronic and online. He graduated with First Rank from Bangalore University and pursued Masters in Communication. He has also worked as Prajavani Reporter, Senior Editor of E-TV Channel, Samaya Channel and Editor-in-Chief of Samaya. 

 His major works are the poetry collections ‘Sonemaleya Sanje’, ‘Prshnegaliruvudu Shakespeare nige’, Cuba: nannedeya hadu’ (travel story), ‘Coffee cup nolage Columbus’ (Conception story telling). 

 He has received many honorary awards for his contribution in Literature, Drama, Media Academy, Karnataka State Development Journalism Award, Putina award and Sandesh Award.
