Poet, storyteller, and critic Geeta Vasant is an Assistant Professor in the D.V.G. Kannada Adhyayana Kendra, Tumkur University. Her notable works include ‘Choukattinaacheyavaru’, ‘Hosilache Hosa Baduku’, ‘Parimalada Beeja’, ‘Belakina Beeja’, ‘Bendre Kavya – Avadhuta Pragne’, and ‘Hosa Digantada Hosa Daari’. She has written a thesis on Feminist Thoughts in Post-Independence Narrative Literature and has received the Patilaputtappa Katha Award, Devangana Shastri Literary Award, and Ratnamma Hegde Award.
